What should you do after a great result……?
What a fantastic set of performances at Lake Vrynwy, it was a target race for many with schedules aimed towards it
Carl Aveyard 78 mins, 2 minute pb
Jon Ashcroft 89 mins first time under an hour and a half
Great run by Stuart Langley 1 hour 32, big pb
Mark Slater an amzaing 14 minute improvement at 1 hour 43 and
Karen Foreman at 2 hours and 15 seconds and 8 minute improvement and was told to hold back!
After a great performance it is easy to think you can push on an increase your training. But rest and recovery is needed more, if the training is working there is no need to change. Wait a couple of weeks let the half marathon have a training effect and you will improve even more.
Even the coach enjoyed his run!
